About SparkTots

Built by parents who've been there

SparkTots wasn't born in a boardroom. It started in a living room, during one of those long nights when you're Googling developmental milestones at 2 AM, trying to figure out what to do next.

Our Story

When my daughter was flagged at her 18-month checkup, I did what every parent does — I went home and spiraled. I downloaded every milestone app I could find, hoping one would tell me what to do. Instead, every single one just confirmed what I already knew: she was behind. Red flags everywhere. Charts showing all the things she wasn't doing.

The early intervention evaluation was overwhelming. Suddenly we had appointments with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and developmental pediatricians. Each one gave us exercises to practice at home. Each one asked what we'd been working on. And I'd fumble through answers like “we did some stuff with blocks” because I had no way to track it all.

I didn't need another app to tell me my daughter was behind. I needed someone to tell me what to do next. I needed activities I could actually do with her at home, between therapy appointments — activities that didn't require a degree in child development or special equipment I'd have to order online. I needed to see that the work we were putting in was making a difference, even when it didn't feel like it day to day. And I needed something concrete to show her therapy team instead of “we, um, practiced some stuff.”

That's when the idea for SparkTots started. What if there was an app that gave parents like me actual activities to do — personalized to where our kids actually were? What if it tracked progress on our child's own timeline, instead of constantly comparing them to neurotypical charts? What if walking into a therapy appointment could feel less like showing up unprepared for a test?

SparkTots is the app I wished existed during those early, overwhelming months. Now it does.

Who We Work With

Parents Like You

Our team includes parents of children with autism, Down syndrome, speech delays, and other developmental differences. We've sat in the waiting rooms. We've done the therapy exercises at home. We build what we wish we'd had.

Therapy Advisors

We work with a team of licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs), occupational therapists (OTs), physical therapists (PTs), and developmental pediatricians who review our activity library and milestone frameworks.
